Update: Woodbourne accident – teen in stable condition

A 16-year-old female injured in an accident at Woodbourne, St Philip last night remains in a stable condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, police have said.

The Graydon Sealy student was struck by a motor van travelling towards Six Roads, St Philip around 7 p.m.

The driver was overtaking another vehicle when the girl was crossing the road.

Police said she had suffered life threatening head injuries.
