Curtains come down on Crystal Cove Sports Club anniversary celebrations

The Crystal Cove Sports and Cultural Club today concluded their month-long anniversary celebrations with a family fun day for their 65 members. They hosted a range of fun community activities at the Desmond Haynes Pavilion in Holders Hill, St Michael.

This afternoon, employees of the West Coast hotel, which is under the Elegant Hotels brand, listened to music and conducted a friendly dominoes match with their family members.

The occasional showers did not damper the festivities.

Over the past month, the employees celebrated the creation of the Sports and Cultural Club with sports competitions such as the Crystal Cove Sports And Cultural Club Road Tennis Tournament and charitable acts such as their annual Barrel of Love where food items are collected and donated to the less fortunate in various communities.

President Cyanda Phillips said the club will be adopting a public primary school in honor of its fifth year. (KK)
