Remanded on gun charge

A 50-year-old painter is on remand at Dodds on gun and ammunition charges.

He is David Dacosta Waithe, of Pasture Road, Bank Hall, St Michael.

The accused is charged with having a firearm and six rounds of ammunition in his possession on May 28 without the valid licences to do so.

He was not required to plea to the indictable charges when he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick yesterday.

Waithe will make his next appearance in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on June 27.
