COVID-19 UPDATE: No positive cases and three more recoveries

Three more people will be released from isolation today after testing negative for COVID-19 twice over a 48-hour period.

The number of recovered persons has now increased to 30 and the number of persons still in isolation has dropped to 40.

Meanwhile, of the 60 tests performed by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday, there were no new positive results.

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 remains at 76. Six persons have succumbed to the viral illness.

Since testing started in Barbados on February 11, the public health laboratory has conducted 1222 tests. (BGIS)
