Man, 20, shot dead in New Orleans

Police have launched an investigation into the shooting death of 20-year-old Jeremiah Jamilla Grannum of Woodland, St George.
Police say that around 8:45 this morning, Grannum – who was reportedly involved in an altercation with a number of men – was chased by two masked men who fired a number of shots during the chase.
Grannum fell to the roadway at 5th Avenue, New Orleans. He died at the scene.
Police say the scene has been cordoned off and they are now at a sensitive stage of their investigation.
