COVID-19 UPDATE: Eight persons leave isolation today

Eight persons will be released from isolation today after they received two consecutive negative test results for COVID-19.  This reduces the number of persons in isolation to 13, and brings the island’s total recoveries to 65.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 138 tests yesterday, of which, there were no new positives.

Therefore, Barbados’ confirmed COVID-19 cases remain at 85.  To date, 3,323 tests have been completed.

The island has recorded seven deaths to COVID-19. (BGIS)
