Police probing fatal stabbing incident

Police are investigating the stabbing death of 60-year-old Victor Decourcey Husband of no fixed place of abode after he was involved in an altercation.

In a media release, police said officers from the District ‘A’ police station responded to a report of an altercation between two men which occurred about 10:55 pm last night at Thompson Gap, Coddington, St. Michael.

After arriving on scene lawmen discovered Husband’s body in a track. The ambulance was summoned an E. M.T made a check of the body and found no sign of life, a medical doctor later arrived at the scene and pronounced Husband dead.

Police have issued a public appeal for anyone who would have witnessed or otherwise have any knowledge of what would have transpired prior or during this incident to please contact District ‘A’ Police Station at 4307242 or 4307246; Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1 800 8477 (TIPS) or any other police station
