Driver in serious, but stable condition after accident at Boarded Hall

Two men were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital yesterday after being involved in a serious accident along Boarded Hall Road, St George.

Police Public Relations Officer Inspector (ag) Rodney Inniss said, around 1:25 p.m. on Tuesday the driver of the motor lorry, 38-year-old Mohammed Pandor and 29-year-old Cody Harris the driver of the car collided in the bend head-on just within a 100 metres away from the District ‘B’ Police Station.

Inniss said, Harris’ car was badly damaged, and he was unresponsive at the scene. Meanwhile, Pandor’s lorry sustained moderate damage to its right frontal area, he complained of pain and injuries to both his feet. They were both taken to the QEH by ambulance.

Two fire tenders and eight personnel from the fire service responded to the scene. The roadway was impassable for a significant period as police conducted their investigations.
