A small craft advisory is in effect

A small craft advisory is in effect for above normal swell heights until 6 p.m. today.

Significant swell height magnitudes: Moderate to rough in open water with swells ranging from 2.0 to 3.0 meters (7 to 10 ft) and increasing, mainly on northern, eastern and southern coasts of the island.

All marine craft operators and beach goers should note the following possibilities along the coast and nearshore of this zone, due to the imminent or already occurring marine threat :-.
Large open water swells can be hazardous to some vessels.

Operation of smaller vessels can be difficult at times due to large swells.
