Hybrid Vehicles: Designed for every day use

At Pioneer Motors, persons who are in the market for a new hybrid vehicle have a variety to choose from: the Toyota Yaris, h. Toyota C-HR, Honda Vezel, the Toyota, and more. Sales representative Hakeem Medford told Barbados TODAY about the benefits of switching to hybrid.

Great on gas

One of the main concerns of people looking for a new vehicle is gas, Medford noted. On average, a hybrid vehicle fills up at BDS $130 and gives users a whopping two weeks of daily use.

No compromise on AC and other features

Due to the resumption of physical classes, there is, no doubt, some serious bumper-to-bumper traffic daily. However, with a hybrid, the vehicle uses more electricity when creeping along, so feel free to crank up the AC and radio.

Silence is golden

No need to fret about waking a sleeping baby or causing a scene if you need to leave your home quietly. These hybrid vehicles are totally silent.

Lower maintenance costs

On average, it is recommended that customers change their fuel every three to five months. This is to ensure that there is no carbon buildup on the engine. With hybrids, since much time is spent using electricity, carbon buildup takes a longer time. This means that you should end up changing your oil every six to nine months instead.
