Seven-year-old robbery case continues

The trial of robbery accused Kedar Ondre Holloway continued in the No. 2 Supreme Court this afternoon.

Holloway, of Block 2D Sunnyside Court, Deacon’s Farm, St Michael, is charged with robbing Stacia Williams of $816.17 property of Massy Technologies on December 13, 2013.

He has pleaded not guilty to the offence and a nine-member jury is hearing his case.

Senior Crown Counsel Olivia Davis is the prosecutor in the matter over which Justice Randall Worrell is presiding.

So far five of seven witnesses have given evidence in the case including Williams.

This afternoon Police Constable Stacia Stephens, a photographer with the Forensic Scenes of Crime Unit showed the court seven photographs that she took of the scene on the day of the alleged crime.

As with the other witnesses, Holloway, who is representing himself, did not cross examine Stephens.

Following that evidence the matter was adjourned until tomorrow at 10:45 a.m. The defence and prosecution however continued to make legal arguments in the absence of the jury.
