Third person pleads guilty to killing St Peter man

The third person charged with the 2016 death of David Nicholas Blenman has confessed.

Jamar Antonio Pile, 30, of Skeete’s Road, Jackman’s, St Michael today told the No. 2 Supreme Court during a Zoom hearing that he was not guilty of murder but guilty of non-capital murder. He was charged with murdering Blenman between November 30 and December 1, 2016.

His plea before Justice Randall comes just a little over a week after his sister, Faith Angelica Pile and her partner Shaquan Sherwin Omar Crichlow also entered pleas to non-capital murder in connection with Blenman’s death.

The nude body of the 26-year-old, late of Golden Mile, Heywoods, St Peter was discovered at Foul Bay Beach, St Philip around 5:45 a.m. on Thursday December 1.

Jamar Pile has Michael Lashley Q.C and Asante Brathwaite as his attorneys while his sister and Crichlow are represented by attorney-at-law Angella Mitchell-Gittens.

The facts of the case will be revealed on December 10 by Senior Crown Counsel Neville Watson.
