BWA staff member test positive for COVID-19

A staff member at The Barbados Water Authority has tested positive for COVID-19.

In an internal email to staff Director of Human Resources and Development Jacqueline Caesar stated, “We have been advised this afternoon, that unfortunately one of our team members has tested positive for COVID-19 this employee was infected via secondary transfer.”

She advised that other staff members are also being tested for possible secondary transfer of the virus.

Caesar advised staff that they should fully cooperate with the contact tracing, “As per the ministry of health and wellness Covid-19 contact tracing protocols, our colleague has been interviewed and will provide a list of persons with whom they have come in contact over the past few days.”
