Emergency Ambulance Service telephone service restored

The Board of Management of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital wishes to advise the public that service to the Emergency Ambulance Service’s (EAS) 511 telephone number has been fully restored.

During the period Thursday, January 14, through Monday, January 18, the EAS experienced a temporary service disruption which resulted in difficulty receiving calls via its 511 number.

However, following a joint investigation by the QEH IT Department and Flow (Barbados) the source of the disruption was identified and the issue swiftly resolved. (PR)
