Rapid and PCR testing services now available at Wildey Gymnasium

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised that all services related to rapid and PCR testing, which were previously carried out at the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory, will now be available at the Wildey Gymnasium.

The new testing site will be opened to the public from Monday, February 1, from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Additionally, there will be a fee of BDS $100 for the rapid testing of outbound travellers to the United Kingdom and the United States of America.  Cash will not be accepted, and therefore, persons will be required to pay using credit or debit cards.

In addition to the new testing facility at the Wildey Gymnasium, screening for COVID-19 continues daily from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Branford Taitt, Eunice Gibson and Winston Scott Polyclinics.

Members of the public are reminded that all polyclinics will continue to provide urgent care and emergency services only, in addition to COVID-19 screening. (BGIS)
