Deroy Leron Holder, from Mullins Terrace, St Peter, is accused of entering the house of Kaleb Burnett, as a trespasser, and stealing $2 800 cash, a safe worth $239.95 containing US$10 000 belonging to Burnett; a $2 500 ring belonging to Jalisa Griffith; and US$2 500 belonging to Denys Boyce; as well as two passports worth $300, the property of the Crown. The items totalled $30 589. 95. The crime is alleged to have taken place on March 26. The 40-year-old accused, who appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee this morning was granted bail with one surety. Station Sergeant Cameron Gibbons represented the Crown and Harry Husbands was the accused’s lawyer.
