Shooting victim identified as 19-year-old Shakem Joseph

Police have released the identity of the victim of last evening’s shooting.

He is Shakem Shaquan Robert Joseph, 19, of 2nd Avenue, Thomas Gap, President Kennedy Drive, St Michael.

His identity was confirmed by his immediate family.

Police say Joseph was shot around 7 p.m. on Saturday at Mayers land, Richmond, St Michael.

He died on the spot.
