COVID-19 UPDATE: 2 new cases, 46 in isolation

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory identified two new positive cases of COVID-19, both males, from the 429 tests conducted on Monday, May 24.

Forty-six persons are currently in isolation.
Since March 2020, there have been 4,000 cases of COVID-19 (1,933 females and 2,067 males). The virus has claimed 47 lives.

A total of 167,026 tests have been conducted by the public health laboratory.

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 76,413 people have been immunised. Of these, 55,586 persons have been fully vaccinated during the second phase of the programme. (BGIS/MOH)
