Age category for first COVID-19 vaccine doses changed

The age range for booking first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been dropped to 40 years old and over.

Co-coordinator of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, Major David Clarke, encouraged persons to take advantage of the online appointment system, available via the website https://vaccine.gov.bb, which is aimed at reducing overcrowding and long wait times at vaccination sites.

They may also call 832-3906, 832-0194, 832-5893, or 832-0583, Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to book appointments.  (BGIS)
