COVID-19 update: seven new cases , 13 in isolation

            Seven new cases (one male, six females) of COVID-19 were recorded on Tuesday, June 22, from the 490 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Thirteen people are presently in isolation.

The total number of confirmed cases is 4,052 – 1961 females and 2091 males – and there have been 47 deaths from the virus.

Since February 2020, the public health laboratory has conducted 181,192 tests.

Meanwhile, 92,874 first doses of the vaccine have been administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.  The number of persons receiving second doses and are fully vaccinated is 67,392. (BGIS)
