Queen’s Park refurbishment project begins Monday

The National Conservation Commission (NCC) wishes to inform the public that it will commence refurbishment work in Queen’s Park from Monday, July 26.

As a result, persons are advised to exercise caution as they traverse the park, and adhere to erected signage.

The NCC notes that there may be temporary closures, which may be necessary to facilitate the carrying out of work that may present potential hazards. Further updates will be provided.

Several areas within the park are to be improved under this project, including the Lake/Fountain, the Trash House, the walkway from the Bandstand to the Clock House, the Bandstand, and the washroom facilities. (BGIS)
