COVID-19 UPDATE: 10 new cases, 107 in isolation

Ten new cases of COVID-19, four females and six males, were recorded by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.  Tests carried out on Friday, August 13, numbered 1,355.

There are currently 107 persons in isolation.

Since March 2020, confirmed COVID-19 cases have reached 4,525 (2,200 females and 2,325 males).  Forty-eight people have died from the viral illness.

To date, the laboratory has conducted 237,445 tests.

There have been 101,011 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered under the National Vaccination Programme.  Additionally, 85,076 people, or 31.4 per cent of the population, have received second doses and are fully vaccinated. (BGIS)
