Hoyte remanded on arms charges

Allegations of possessing an illegal gun and ammunition have landed a 28-year-old man on remand at Dodds.

Rachad Rudolf Hoyte, of Barkers Road, Haggatt Hall, St Michael is accused of having a firearm in his possession on October 3 without a valid licence and five rounds of ammunition.

He was not required to plead to the indictable charges when he appeared before Acting Magistrate Krystal Delaney on Tuesday.

Hoyte who is represented by attorneys-at-law Angella Mitchell-Gittens and Martie Garnes will make his next appearance before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on November 2.
