BWA makes emergency repairs on a burst main in Cattlewash, St Joseph

 

Today,  October 18, The Barbados Water Authority is addressing a suspected burst on a 10-inch main in Cattlewash, St. Joseph. Work has begun in locating this section on the main, however with the soil conditions in that area progress has been hampered.

As a result, customers located in the following areas may experience low water pressure or outages:

St. Joseph

  • Cattlewash
  • Cambridge
  • Dark Hole

St. Andrew

  • Belleplaine
  • Cane Garden
  • Simons
  • Walkers
  • Morgan Lewis

And surrounding areas.

 

The Authority will continue to make every effort to assist residents in the affected districts via tanker as a temporary measure.

The Barbados Water Authority apologizes for the inconvenience these service disruptions have caused and will continue to update the public as the day goes on.     (BWA)
