Javan Kadeem Boyce of Bovell Road, Queen Street, Speightstown; Mario Sheldon Burnett and Damien Dion Burnett, both of Mango Lane, Speightstown; and Andrew Jamal Brome of Six Mens had been facing a two-count indictment before the High Court. They were accused of the October 26, 2016 charges of unlawfully wounding Scantlebury with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or to do some serious bodily harm to him as well as unlawfully and maliciously wounding him. Senior Crown Counsel Neville Watson said given the statement of the complainant the prosecution was not proceeding with the case.
