Marketing with ‘Zen’

Hasani Wilson, who is more commonly known as Zen the DJ, is the owner of Zen Enterprises International.

The company, which is located in Dover, Christ Church, offers voiceovers, videography, photography, commercial and content creation and social media consultancy and management and has been operating for one year.

Wilson said he realized that small businesses need to have marketing and advertising services at an affordable cost and that is what led him to start his business.

“I saw a loophole where businessese-specially small businesses – needed an extra push and lacked marketing and advertising [operations]. Therefore, we would provide this and all the other elements of brand awareness like videography and photography, making our company a one-stop-shop,” he said.

The radio personality, whose voice can be heard on 95.3 FM, holds a degree in Mass Communication from the Barbados Community College. He said he always knew he wanted to be an entrepreneur and would always find creative ways to earn income.

Thus, he takes immense joy from owning his own business since he can provide exceptional service for a number of businesses from around the globe after starting with one local client.

“Our clients always return to us for advertisements or commercial creation. This is definitely one of our most popular services [that] we provide for newly established and established businesses. We also understand the harsh economic climate, so we also offer payment plans for our clients who are facing economic challenges at this time,” he said.

The owner of Zen Enterprises International said he is eager to work with all brands. “Whether you’re in Barbados, the wider Caribbean, or the rest of the world, we can get our services to you! We are one click away as persons can contact us by following us on Instagram @zenenterprisesintl,” Wilson said.
