Court Man denies using threatening words; damaging property Barbados Today18/02/20220169 views It will be back to court in August for Evan Raheem Jordan, after pleading not guilty to two charges when he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court. Jordan, 27, of Barracks Road, Bank Hall, St Michael, denied that on February 6, 2022, he used the threatening words “I glad I see you cause I gine kill you today” and “Come out, come out leh me bus a shot in your face” towards Jamel Ashby. He also pleaded not guilty to damaging a window belonging to Joycelyn Ashby intending to damage such property or was reckless to whether such property would be damaged on the same date. There was no objection to bail by the prosecutor and Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes granted Jordan bail in the sum of $3 500 with one surety. He was also ordered to stay away from the virtual complainants including via social media. Jordan was represented by attorney-at-law Marlon Gordon.
