1,000 days incident free for BNTCL staffers

The staff at Barbados National Terminal Company Ltd. (BNTCL) have a lot to be proud of, as they recently reached a notable milestone of 1,000 days without incident.

The members of the team at the Fairy Valley compound were rewarded on Friday, March 18, 2022, with celebratory tokens, cake and wine.

Chief Operations Officer and former Terminal Manager, Terrance Straughn, expressed pleasure that the team had achieved this amazing feat during one of the most challenging times.

“I am impressed that even during a pandemic, our team held firm and we reached this milestone.  I look forward to celebrating with you at 1,500 days,” Mr. Straughn remarked.

Also present for the presentation was Chief Executive Officer, James Browne, and Operations Engineer, Kirk King.

Safety is paramount for the staff at BNTCL. The Health & Safety Department ensures that protocols are maintained with regular checks and briefings with staff. (PR)
