Emergency work at the Belle Pumping Station delayed

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to advise customers that the planned Sunday, April 10th 6 p.m shutdown of the Belle Pumping Station has been rescheduled to 9 p.m.

Additional structural requirements are being put in place to safely complete the repairs at the station. This means the Belle will only be able to resume full pumping capacity from 2 a.m on Monday, April 11th.

Customers are therefore reminded to carefully conserve their use of water during the remainder of this evening and tomorrow.

We will continue to update you as work progresses.

The BWA apologies for the inconvenience this change may cause. (BWA)
