Twenty-year-old man remanded on murder charge

Jakobe Jaheem Yarde was today remanded to Dodds after appearing before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes on a murder charge and three other offences.

Yarde, 20, of Nurse Land, Bank Hall, St. Michael was arrested and formally charged with the April 16 death of Jerome Antonio Stuart, 25, of 8th Ave, New Orleans, St Michael.

Yarde is also charged with two counts of serious bodily harm, two counts of endangering life and use of a firearm.

Yarde will reappear in court on June 9, 2022.
