BWA to continue swabbing exercise in St Lucy on Wednesday

The Barbados Water Authority advises residents and businesses in St. Lucy that its ongoing swabbing exercise to address discoloured water issues in the parish continues on Wednesday, June 22nd.

On Wednesday, crews will swab the main that runs between Barrows and the junction at Shermans, St. Lucy and Colleton in St. Peter starting around 10 a.m. and ending around 6 p.m.

Residents and businesses in the following areas may be affected by low pressure or a water outage.

In St. Lucy

  • Colleton
  • Checker Hall
  • Shermans
  • Clinketts
  • Half Moon Fort
  • Fustic Village
  • Six Men’s Village
  • Sutherland Hill
  • Bourbon

and surrounding districts.

In St. Peter,  Colleton Gardens, Six Men’s Development and surrounding areas.

Residents are asked to store an adequate supply of water to assist during the stated period. Water tankers will also be dispatched to service the affected areas.
