BNOCL donates to St. Stephen’s Primary School

The Barbados National Oil Company Ltd. (BNOCL) recently made a donation to the St. Stephen’s Primary School’s PTA to aid in the purchasing of graduation gifts for Class Four students.

Business Development Officer at BNOCL, Stuart Bannister, presented the cheque to senior teacher, Jeremy Browne, at the company’s Commercial Department Office.

In outlining the importance of the donation, Bannister said one of BNOCL’s core values was to assist in developing the youth of Barbados, and be more involved in the community.

“We at BNOCL recognise the importance of rewarding our youth when they excel in life, especially academically.

“When we were contacted about making a donation, we were more than elated to do so.

“We believe that reaching Class Four and moving on to secondary school is an important milestone in our children’s lives that must be celebrated.

Moreover, equipping our youth with the important necessities to help them move further in their studies is a cause we fully support,”Bannister stated. Browne expressed gratitude for the donation, saying that it would greatly assist the graduating class.  (BGIS)
