#BTSpeakingOut – Response to ‘Indoctrinating Computer Test’

The next gatekeeper of our children after their parents, is the schools. We the people have given the responsibility of managing our schools and hence our children to the Ministry of Education. Have we given the mandate to the right group? That is a separate discussion. Right now, something is dreadfully wrong. We actually knew clearly that something was wrong when we saw the manner in which we were driven to be a Republic. Then came the Throne speech (that included gender nuances), which goes against the spiritual culture of our people. Rev Atherley drew to our attention the atrocities of the Charter. We also experienced various violations and inconsistencies during the covid season. The same Ministry of Education initiated a mindfulness approach aimed at our children. We heard on TV that Digital IDs were not mandatory, only to find out that they are being made the only ID available going forward. As though this abuse was not enough, everyone is allowed the option to wear or not to wear mask except our children who are and have been the least affected by the virus.

Now we have this blatant, total and abhorrent disrespect for the people. The Inter-American Development Bank has used their money and as occurred during slavery, they are using us again. Once more we are being abused as an independent group of people calling ourselves a Republic. This government has stood true to their stance, which is, that they are a political monopoly that do what they want to do without any say from the people who somehow elected them.

What is good, however, is that We The People are becoming ‘woke’. We are no longer in slumber. We are taking notes from Jamaica and Trinidad and Cuba and from our homeland Africa. We may be a little slow in turning, but we are becoming more vigilant and are beginning to speak out and oppose what we know in our God-given spirits is wrong. No longer do we listen to and trust certain agenda-toting lobbyist on our radio programmes and in our universities. Some of us may be simple but not all of us are and we know how to read between the lines. But while some may be simple and some not, none of us is stupid. We know that this move on Monday in the schools was no “mistake” but was intentional and aimed at INDOCTRINATING our children at a very impressionable age. I repeat, we’re not as stupid as you bargained. I can tell you that many of our children did not take a 6 for a 9 on Monday. You were “had”, you were “took” and the gates are now swung wide, wide open. Barbados is a spot-light and a spiritual hub and will put up a fight against evil and wickedness.

Bajans will now do what they have to do.
