BWA emergency repairs in Carmichael, St George complete

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) says emergency repairs on a ruptured main at Carmichael in St
George were completed Saturday night.

But the BWA says customers in the affected areas will continue to be impacted by a water outage into Sunday as the system remained off overnight in order to allow the concrete laid to anchor the pipework to set.

Tankers will continue to assist residents until the system is restarted and recharges fully.

The Barbados Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience this service disruption has caused.
