Completion of repairs in Warleigh, St Peter delayed by rain

Completion of repairs being conducted by Barbados Water Authority crews on the eight-inch main in Warleigh, St Peter has been delayed by heavy rainfall in the area.

This delay will cause work to continue on Sunday.

As a result, some St Peter, St James, St Andrew and St Lucy districts may be impacted by low pressure or water outages into Sunday.

The Authority’s tanker crews will continue to assist affected residents as a temporary measure until repair of the damaged main is complete.

The Barbados Water Authority thanks customers for their continued patience as teams continue work to resolve this issue.
