New Central Bank Governor on the job

 

It’s day one on the job for new Central Bank Governor Dr Kevin Greenidge.

Greenidge, the bank’s eighth governor, told reporters he felt “amazing” and it was great to be home.

Greenidge, a former employee of the Central Bank for 17 years, added that he is proud to serve his country.

He said he would focus on maintaining the stability of the Barbados dollar while providing Government with sound economic advice.
