Mascoll-Beckles to join Barbados Carifta team

Sprinter Amani Mascoll-Beckles has been added to the Barbados Carifta games squad.

The Athletics Association of Barbados is yet to made an official announcement, however, sources have confirmed the news to BARBADOS TODAY.

Mascoll-Beckles hit the CARIFTA mark in three events, clocking 47.77 seconds in the 400-metre, 21.29 over 200-metres and 10.55 seconds in the 100-metre event.

Last week when the team was announced he was a surprise omission pending a medical assessment.

The 50th Carifta Games are slated for April 7 to 10 in Nassau Bahamas. (AGB)
