However, the real action for the night was in the VIP and LIV VIP, where the food options featured various locally inspired delicacies including roast pork, macaroni pie, and more. This was topped up by an inclusive premium cocktail bar and lounge area with a great view of the stage. If you went to RISE hoping to eat your fill, you definitely left satisfied. The vibe and performances. The performances were lit. The Mighty Gabby still knows how to engage the crowd with his many timeless hits. Patrons definitely still love Dr Cassandra. The Mighty Gabby delighted the crowd. Soca megastar Skinny Fabulous, who needs no introduction, grabbed the attention of the crowd from the moment he landed on the stage, and his set was seemingly too short for the level of energy that he delivered. He was fantastic. Skinny Fabulous was full of energy. Kes the Band, while noticeably absent from previous Crop Over events, made their one appearance at this year’s festival count. Their singles like Fallin, ‘Radar, Wotless, and others are still great crowd pleasers in the region, and Barbados is no exception. One Kes fan climbed her way onto the stage to get closer to the band she clearly adores. The vibes for the entire night were unmistakably excellent. Kes the Band engaged the audience.
