‘IT’S AN HONOUR’

Prime Minister Mia Mottley met today with Barbadian star athlete Sada Williams and her coach, Paul Francis, calling it an honour. In a social media post, she said her discussions with the “impressive duo” left her with a “renewed sense of purpose, as we seek excellence for all of our athletes here in Barbados”. Mottley said Williams, who the day before received a $150 000 cheque from government and had a billboard and life-size cutout of her unveiled at the Grantley Adams International Airport, was deserving of the all the accolades she has received.
