Credit union movement’s historic walk postponed

Postponed event stamp, new date coming soon

The inclement weather associated with Hurricane Tammy has forced the postponement of the Barbados Co-operative & Credit Union League’s (BCCUL) Historic Walk Through Bridgetown and its Environs, planned for today, Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 3 p.m.

The BCCUL apologises for the inconvenience and will soon announce a rescheduled date and time for the historic walk and guided tour for credit union members and the general public that will retrace the origins of the movement.

Barbados’ credit unions are indigenous financial institutions that boast more than 220 000 members and more than $3 billion in combined assets. (IMC1)
