Salvation Army gets $15 000 donation from hotels

The Salvation Army recently got a welcomed boost to its annual drive, with a $15 000 donation from Bougainvillea and Sugar Bay Barbados.

Group Financial Controller Mark Estwick and Operations Manager Dawn Kirton each donated $7 500 from the locally-owned, four-star hotels.

Major Denzil Walcott expressed gratitude for the continued support of the hotel group, which is owned by Gordon Seale and his family, as the Salvation Army strives to meet its $850 000 target this year.
