Library Installed at Ellerton Community Center

PGDFF Caribbean Inc., along with their partners Massy Foundation Barbados Inc. and the Community Development Department continues to make an impact on the youth and children across the island.

The libraries were built by the woodworking class of the Barbados Community College, who were the recipients of equipment for the division donated by PGDFF. Principal Alleyne of BCC said that the equipment would also be a revenue generator for the division so they could purchase more equipment.

Books were also donated to the Ellerton Primary School Library.The children did a reading of the founder’s book “Flying with the Prince.”

The first mini library was at the Parkinson Resource Center.

Donation bins for children’s books ,in good condition ,towards the literacy project can be found at Massy Warrens,Kooymans, and Farm and Garden.
