Regular classes to resume at Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary School on Tuesday

Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary School

egular classes will resume tomorrow at the Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary School after an early closure today.
According to the Ministry of Education, following reports of a break-in at the Pine, St Michael school, some parents insisted on taking their children out of school, thereby resulting in no classes being held today.

The Ministry confirmed the break-in but said it is not the practice to close the school, but rather locate classes until the investigations are completed.

Police investigations revealed that the staff room and the prefabricated buildings were breached.
Two laptops were reported missing along with cleaning supplies. The Ministry said the two laptops have since been recovered. The Ministry said the affected rooms have been sanitised.
