Police investigating St James shooting

man is nursing gunshot injuries after a shooting incident at Husband Heights, St James that occurred just after one o’clock this morning.

According to police, the man in his early 40s went to the area to visit a friend when he was attacked by a man who was hiding in a bushy area. The assailant fired several shots, striking him multiple times. The victim drove himself to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private car.

Investigations are continuing into this matter.
