Puckerin admits to having gun, ammo

Kriskoff Redonnie Temar Puckerin has pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The 25-year-old of Skeete’s Road, Jackman, St Michael asked to be re-arraigned when he appeared before Madam Justice Laurie-Ann Smith Bovell on Thursday, and admitted to having a 9 mm-calibre Beretta semi-automatic pistol and 11 rounds of ammunition on May 18, 2022.

His attorney Shadia Simpson waived a pre-sentence report.

State Counsel Paul Prescod is prosecuting the matter.

Justice Smith-Bovell ordered a custody record and scheduled sentencing submissions for September 25, when the facts of the case will also be heard.
