Black Rock fire destroys one house, damages another

One house was destroyed and another damaged in a fire at Clevedale, Black Rock, St Michael early this morning.
Divisional Officer of the Barbados Fire Service Tremelle Perch told reporters they received a call to respond to the blaze around 6:28 a.m.
One wall and wooden structure occupied by two people was destroyed and the second structure, a wall house, was slightly damaged.
St Michael West Central MP Ian Gooding-Edghill was on the scene and expressed regret at the incident. However, he gave assurances that his affected constituents would receive assistance.
