Barbados Prison Service welcomes 15 new recruits

The Barbados Prison Service has welcomed 15 new recruits to its ranks. Today they took part in a passing out parade where they got the opportunity to show off the drills and skills they learnt during training.

Superintendent of Prisons DeCarlo Payne said the service plays an important role in shaping minds of the future. He also warned the new officers that there is a zero tolerance approach towards corruption and urged them to make responsible decisions as they are always under public scrutiny.

During the ceremony Nicholas Wilson was recognised as the best recruit. (SZB)
