$816 000 bail for drug accused

A man accused of trafficking $816 000 worth of cannabis was released on bail of that same amount on Monday and ordered to surrender his travel documents.

 

Christopher Dave Hinds, a 32-year-old resident of #40 Lodge Crescent must also report to the District ‘A’ Police Station as another condition of his bail release.

 

He is charged with trafficking cannabis and acts preparatory for the purpose of trafficking 224 pounds of cannabis on October 14.

 

Hinds was granted bail with one surety when he appeared before Magistrate Wayne Clarke in the Holetown Magistrates’ Court, a week after being arrested.
