The following communities in St James will be sprayed on Monday: The Garden, Mount Standfast, Patanne Gardens, Yearwood Road, Prescod Road, Porter’s, Store House Road, Mango Drive and surrounding areas. The team will return to that parish on Tuesday to target Trent’s Tenantry, Jamestown Park, 1st Street, 2nd Street, St Thomas Parish Church, Reeves Hill, Seaview, Nicholls Road, Webster Road, Mahogany Avenue, Upper Halcyon Heights, Hibiscus Avenue, and Sunset Crest with avenues. Fogging will be concentrated in St Michael for the remainder of the week. On Wednesday the Unit will visit Belleville avenues Nos.1 to 11, Belmont Road, Sisnett Road, Pine Road, Martindales Road, and Collymore Rock. The next day, Thursday it will be the turn of St Paul’s Avenue, Bayview Avenue, Bay Garden, Jessamine Avenue, Gullyfield Avenue, Pipers Avenue, Old Quarry Avenue, Walcott Avenue, Curwen Avenue, Alleyne Avenue, Clarke’s Avenue, Evelynes Avenue, Luke’s Avenue, Lawrence Avenue, and neighbouring districts. The fogging exercise will conclude on Friday in Beckles Hill No.1, Beckles Hill No.2, Bay Street, Chelsea Gardens, Chelsea avenues Nos.1 and 2, and Browne’s Avenue. Fogging takes place from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. daily. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter. Children should not be allowed to play in the fog.
