Two men injured in St Philip shooting incident

wo men have been hospitalised, one in critical condition, after being shot at Farm Road, St Philip around 1:10 p.m. today.

According to a statement from the Barbados Police Service, when lawmen arrived on the scene, they discovered that one of the victims – said to be in his 50s – had suffered a gunshot wound to the left side of his head.

He was taken via ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and is said to be in critical condition.

The second victim, a male in his 40s, received an injury to his left arm. He was transported to hospital via private vehicle. His condition is stable.

Police are asking anyone with information that can assist with investigations into the shooting to call the Criminal

Investigations Department (Southern Division) at 418-2609, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.
